A Review of the Year

What a great winter we've had. Not only was the snow fantastic and our trails the best ever, we've also accomplished much to be proud of. Let's start with the trails. We now have a groomer to use just for Snowstormers trails. Our drag has been repaired and painted thanks to Randy's Sanitation and Hanson's Sandblasting. We have a group of dedicated drivers that kept our trails in top condition all season. And, our system has grown thanks to new spur trails into Delano, to B's on The River, to Woodland Hill Winery, and now a connecting trail to Three Rivers Park which hopefully will motivate the park officials to reopen the park trail for snowmobilers.

There was time for fun too. Elbow Lake was this year's club ride destination and a great time was had despite frigid weather. Several local rides were organized and the season was topped off with a delicious breakfast and ride attended by 22 Snowstormers.

The season was also eventful, as in our December fundraiser/Silent Auction. A lot of hard work and support led to another successful and fun event. We certified 35 young snowmobilers in our Safety Training Class in January. Members also participated in events at B's on The River Snowmobile Day, Star West Arctic Cat Open House and coming this weekend, the Delano Business Expo.
